How fast do you quote?

Should I choose FCL or LCL?
FCL (a full container) suits larger volumes, while LCL (a shared container) suits smaller ones. LCL often stops being cheaper somewhere around 13 to 15 m³, so compare both with the CBM calculator.
How long does sea freight from China take?
Port to port from Shanghai, Shenzhen or Guangzhou to Hamburg it usually takes about 30 to 40 days via the Suez Canal. Door to door takes longer.
Who pays import VAT?
The importer pays German import VAT to customs when the goods are released, unless the sale is DDP and the seller covers it. VAT-registered businesses can normally reclaim it.
What do I need to start importing?
An EORI number, a supplier invoice and packing list, the commodity code of your goods and a forwarder to file the customs declaration. Check any product rules, such as CE marking, before you order.
