TradeRoute EU is a freight forwarding and logistics brand serving small and medium-sized businesses across Europe and beyond. We connect European importers and exporters with reliable, compliant, and competitively priced freight services, customs clearance, and warehousing — all managed from our operations base in Hamburg, Germany.
What We Do
We manage the complete logistics chain for businesses that need to move goods internationally. This means booking and coordinating air freight, sea freight, and road freight shipments; handling all import and export customs clearance in Germany; providing bonded and standard warehousing in Hamburg; and offering value-added services including labelling, repacking, and EU distribution. For our clients, we are the single point of contact for everything that happens between their supplier’s factory and their customer’s door.
Who We Serve
Our primary clients are European SMEs — businesses typically with between 5 and 200 employees — who are importing goods from Asia (China, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh) or exporting from Germany and the EU to global markets. We also serve Asian exporters selling DDP to European buyers who need a reliable German customs and logistics partner. Our clients span a range of industries including e-commerce and online retail, automotive components, manufacturing and engineering, chemicals and industrial materials, textiles and apparel, and consumer goods.
Germany-Based Operations
Our operations hub is in Hamburg — Germany’s largest port city and one of Europe’s most important logistics centres. Hamburg’s position as Europe’s gateway for container shipping, combined with its outstanding rail, road, and inland waterway connections to the rest of Germany and Europe, makes it the ideal base for a freight forwarding operation. Being based in Hamburg means we have direct physical access to the Port of Hamburg, established relationships with port agents and terminal operators, proximity to Hamburg’s international airport (HAM) for air freight, and direct connections to the major road and rail freight corridors serving Germany and Eastern Europe.
